เมื่อวันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2555 ที่ผ่านมา คณะครูนักเรียนโรงเรียนแม่อ้อวิทยาคม นำโดยท่านผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน นายจรัล แก้วเป็ง ได้ร่วมกันจัดพิธีทบทวนคำปฏิญาณ และสวนสนาา เนื่องในวันคล้าย วันสถาปนาลูกเสือขึ้น เพื่อรำรึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จ- พระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 6 ผู้ทรงก่อตั้งคณะลูกเสือไทย หลังจากนั้นลูกเสือ- เนตรนารี ทุกนายได้ ร่วมกันบำเพ็ญประโยชน์ พัฒนา ทำความสะอาด บริเวณโรงเรียน
